Perks

Well, to start off the year, the senior class had a little doughnut-and-orange-juice breakfast. At 6:30 a.m. Some of us were suspicious that it might be some horrible, horrible trick, but no, doughnuts. And then a massive group photo in front of the school. and then the informal yet essential senior procession into the auditorium (as the underclassmen looked on in awe).
Got our schedules. Mine didn't change any.
First block: economics and government with Tim Allen. No, not that Tim Allen, a different Tim Allen. One that teaches economics and government.
Second block: AP calculus I with Mr. Scott. He brought us a rock to look at. It was pretty. Should be an interesting class...
Third block: chorus. Helen was sober today, which is more than I can say for the last time I saw her.
Fourth block: English IV. Mrs. Hardin should make this an interesting class as well... So far she's quoted Chaucer and instructed us to take off our shoes and make our feet look pretty. *shrug*
Also I have received the first wave of necessary college-related paperwork. Yay.
Oh well, full day tomorrow. Must pick up some supplies. And what's better than a party at Whit's on a Friday night? Nothing. That's what! Unless it's a party at Whit's on an exam night. 'Cuz I've done that, too.
